The ITQ is the IT user qualification and training package which is based on today’s most widely used software packages. It is the first of a new breed of National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) designed in partnership with employers, in response to the increasing demand in the workplace for computer skills.

Information Horizons currently offers this course at Level 2, which is an intermediate qualification.

Holborn Training Centre

The training courses are normally held at our fully equipped Holborn Training Centre, and some assessment is also carried out at your work place. If you have 6 or more delegates, however, the training can be delivered at your offices, and tailored to any specific needs.

Fully Funded

The commercial cost of this comprehensive training and certification programme is up to £1600 but for qualifying organisations in London, the programme is fully funded.

 

Information Horizons offers a highly flexible, Intermediate level ITQ which is fully funded through the Learning and Skills Council and the European Social Fund. The programme is delivered through highly practical hands-on courses and work based assessment.

The Level 2 ITQ includes a selection from the following units:

  • Operate a Computer
  • Word processing using Word
  • Spreadsheets using Excel
  • Presentations using PowerPoint
  • Email using Outlook
  • Databases using Access

To achieve their qualifications, candidates develop a portfolio of work guided by an experienced trainer from Information Horizons.
